With hunting closed for Bathurst caribou, it can be hard for harvesters to access Beverly-Ahiak or Bluenose East caribou if they are all in the same area during winter. Researchers with the Fate of the Caribou Project and WRRB looked at whether overlap between the three herds is increasing and how winter range overlap has changed as the herds’ numbers have fluctuated.
